How to Create Your Gratitude Master List for Positive Energy Anytime

Gratitude is an expression of love and appreciation that heals your energy, boosts your mood, and raises your vibration.

This is why a gratitude practice is integral to a vibrant life.  Probably the most popular form of gratitude practice is the gratitude journal.

While the last thing I would ever do is discourage you from keeping a gratitude journal, I do wish to offer an alternative in case keeping a daily journal is a bit of a challenge in your busy life:  create a Gratitude Master List instead.

A Gratitude Master List is simply a list of things you are thankful for that you write down once and edit from time to time as you wish.  You can then read it once, twice, or three times a day or whenever you need a pick me up.

The point is to review for it for positive emotion without having to write down something new each and every time.  Think of it as an affirmation.

How to Create Your Gratitude Master List

The best time to write your list is when you’re already in a really good mood, so that you sincerely feel thankful for the things you’re writing down.  This also helps you make a list that is more likely to inspire you every time you look at it.

Right before I created my Gratitude Master List, I read a chapter from an inspiring book and watched an empowering video.  You do whatever floats your boat.

And here’s a few more pointers:

  1. I like to say ‘THANK YOU…’ instead of ‘I am grateful for…’ because saying ‘THANK YOU’ makes me feel a more personal connection to the Source I am thanking. (What you call your Source is a personal matter.  For me, my Source is ‘God’.  You may call your Source ‘Divine Mother’, ‘Creator’, or whoever.  In the end, we’re all referring to the same ‘All-That-Is’. )
  2. This is totally optional but consider putting your list out into the UNIVERSE through a social media post, blog post, or just an email to a couple of your closest friends. Yes, this may require some vulnerability on your part but vulnerability heals and empowers.
  3. Remember to be thankful for the unpleasant occurrences in life as well, for these are the things that help you EXPAND and GROW.

I may have gotten a bit carried away with my list which is an indication that I was in an inspired state as I made it.  Yours can be longer or shorter, using the tone of voice that sounds just like you.

What matters most is that YOUR LIST makes YOU feel good whenever you read it.

So without further ado, here’s my personal Gratitude Master List to serve as an example of what one may look like…
